Language and Play Language and Play is a new Basic Skills Agency initiative aimed at helping parents and carers to develop their child’s language skills through the use of play, stories, songs and rhymes.
The programme has been designed to be fun. It provides parents with lots of ideas for activities that will encourage early learning at home and whilst out and about. You will also have the opportunity to learn some Welsh songs and phrases before your child begins school.
The Language and Play programme is free is running in many Parent and Toddler Groups, Playgroups and Nurseries throughout Monmouthshire. All parents and carers are welcome to attend.
